How come it’s usually men wearing special suits or funny hats, maybe with their own TV show, who don’t always look real happy, that need to tell you how to run your life… and when it is a woman she looks like a man?
\nReligion provides community and social interaction with people that think like you do, and you get to participate in all kinds of neat rituals and other repetitive behaviors together, and you all dress alike.
\nOK, I get it. <\/p>\n

But we shouldn’t oughta blow each other up no more, condemn one another to hell anymore, reduce women and gays to second-class citizenship or divide ourselves according to 1,500-2,000 year-old writings…
\nOR moralize the hell out of one another over adamant interpretations of those writings, not no more. Dig?<\/em><\/p>\n

Go bowling, play dungeons and dragons, join a quilting or a book club, become a member of the JayCees or Kiwanis, fly a kite at the park, volunteer at a soup kitchen, get in on a chat room, tweet, troll Facebook on Sunday morning, swing, become a furry, a Trekkie, a Republican (OK, maybe not that one), do whatever you gotta do to hang out with like minded people and find community. <\/p>\n

Point is: There\u2019s a gozillion different ways to do that without resorting to smugly sharing delusions and condemning the rest of humanity to eternal fire.
\nThink about it: What an assinine occupation religion truly is.
\n’nuff said.<\/p>\n
