Xian propaganda says Non-believers (atheists, agnostics, freethinkers, deists), i.e. people who have no religion and no belief in god or at very least lack of belief in a god that intervenes and performed miracles once or supposedly answers prayers, must be depressed, nihilistic, have a bleak world outlook, are angry, angry at god, overbearing, and will most likely come to their senses, usually on their deathbed.
\nMany Xians I know figure you must be this way because that\u2019s what they have been taught.

\nWhat an evil, depressed, hopelessly adrift looking bunch, huh? That\u2019s what your minister might tell you about these godless folks if you are from any sort of hardcore Evangelical Xian church.
\nFor example, check out any of Ravi Zacharias<\/strong>\u2019 books on the subject of us unbelieving scum and you will get gems like this on atheism:
\n\u201cIts true nature-whether disguised in Eastern mysticism or American cynicism – is despair.<\/em>\u201d
\nAccording to one book overview on Barnes and Noble “… Zacharias exposes the hopelessness of Atheism…<\/em>\u201d
\nCheck out this review<\/a> of Zacharias\u2019 Can Man Live Without God?<\/em> done by the internet infidels.<\/p>\n

For another real taste of what Xiansanity\u2122 says about those who dare to think for themselves and question religious and theistic claims, check out any of Albert Mohler\u2019s<\/strong> (President of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) pieces on the subject at his website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And for a really enlightening discussion of the misinformation Xians are fed through their ministers, often through the formidable propaganda of folks like Zacharias and Mohler and a whole host of other Xian apologists, peruse the questions and comments to Hemant Mehta<\/strong> (the Freindly Atheist) here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Once again, I just gotta give Rachel Held Evans<\/strong>, as hardcore into living the Bible as she is, mucho kudos for being a voice of reason and compassion from within the confines of Evangelical Xiansanity\u2122. An unlikely ally to be sure.<\/p>\n

But you know this pall of creeping despair has gotten so bad even high school kids are succumbing to the nihilism and despondence of non-belief. Just cast your eyes on these poor lost souls, high school members of the Secular Student Alliance<\/strong> (SSA).

\nJust breaks your heart doesn\u2019t it? Look at what Freethought has wrought. Ravi and Al are just incensed over what those dastardly atheists like Dawkins, Harris, Hitchens, and Dennett have done to these poor children of god, led utterly astray…
\nVisit the SSA website<\/a> and take a gander of the hundreds of campus secular non-belief groups and their miserable visages.
\nYup, its hopeless, we\u2019re hopeless. Hepburn was obviously hopeless, despairing and nihilistic. All these kids and adults are obviously despondent and morally impoverished. Ravi knows, Al Mohler knows, they got us all figured out, they got it all down.<\/p>\n

The Arrogance of Religious Thought\u2122 displays itself once again, in that like the Creationists out there these men spread complete misinformation under the guise of religious authority and theological scholarship, and have the respect of many in our modern culture.
\nThe people in these photos and the hundreds of millions like them (at least a billion, maybe two) who live free, secular, happy, fulfilled, moral lives unfettered by Bronze Age superstitions and repressive rules prove those “authorities<\/em>” utterly and completely wrong.<\/p>\n
