Not later, not in another year after the midterms, not next week or next month, or after the first of the year, but now. Immediately.
Trump has done enough to warrant impeachment, not upholding his oath of office in pulling unconstitutional stunts pretty much daily.
And this last bit – threatening elected officials – veterans of armed forces and intelligence – with death. Unbelievable, even for Trump.
It’s time, before he does anything worse. And to take America back to democratic rule.
Recently I posted on one of my fav authors – Albert Camus, who reminded us that the purpose of writers was to keep civilization from destroying itself.
He also wrote:
“There can be no contentment, but in proceeding”
And he wrote that during the French Resistance to Nazi Occupation during WWII when things could not look more hopeless with Hitler at the height of his powers and France under cruel authoritarian rule, where citizens were murdered daily.
No, its not that bad here in the US right now, but with daily abductions of people off the street by Trumps goons in ICE and CBP – and now his death threats – all unchecked by Congress or the Courts to any great extent…we are already experiencing a complete turn from the personal rights, freedoms, and free speech that America was founded on.
We are at a point now in the US when brown people, not blacks, not whites, not Asians, but anyone Hispanic looking enough is subject to immediate and un-warranted detainment and confinement for possible deportation. And being a US citizen hasnt mattered, they have been detained and even deported, regardless. This must stop.
His ridiculous attempts to run the economy from the Oval Office with his arbitrary, punitive and destructive tariffs, his bombing of boats off Venezuela, his illegal appointments of unqualified official – along with his Gestapo immigration tactics – masked, unidentified ICE agents, arresting people without warrants – are all Unconstitutional. Time to impeach.
IMPEACH and REMOVE TRUMP NOW.
